Derek Ivory’s bird wax sculpture

After an uninspiring long day, i stood near the window overlooking the town from my humble home, drifting in and out of thought, searching for my muse when suddenly, it flapped it wings and flew towards me, in the form of a bird which flapped again the window and then it hit me, why not use the bird and i did with a touch of my own innocent madness.

Oh! How i love wax. The detailing took a lot of work but it’s my work to do, so what can i do but do it the way i can. Anyway, i hope you like it. Enjoy
